MISSOULA Montana - William Nielsen of Missoula, a registered sex offender, is facing a federal charge for allegedly luring a 12-year-old Wyoming girl to Missoula and raping her repeatedly for four days.
Nielsen, 24, is facing a coercion and enticement of a minor charge.
In court documents, the FBI says that on Sunday morning Missoula Montana police responded to The Bridge Apartments for a disturbance. When officers arrived, they found the 12-year-old girl's father, Nielsen, and others by the apartment building.
The girl's father was accusing Nielsen of raping his daughter.
Court documents say the father was able to track down his daughter by posing as the girl's friend online, telling Nielsen he had drugs. Nielsen told the father, who he thought was the 12-year-old girl's friend, where he lived.
An investigation revealed that Nielsen and the victim met on MySpace three weeks prior to her coming to Missoula Montana.
FBI agents say Nielsen instructed the victim to take a Greyhound bus to Missoula.
When she got into town, he met her at the bus station, took her to his apartment, got her high on marijuana, raped her several times a day and wouldn't let her leave.
When the FBI asked Nielsen if he was ever going to let the girl go, he said he probably would not have let her go until she was 18 years old.
Nielsen has a prior sexual assault conviction; his previous victim was also 12 years old.
